Surf lessons run daily, morning and afternoon, across the best surf spots in the Agadir and Tamraght area. Morning sessions typically start between 8–10am to catch the cleanest conditions before the wind picks up. Afternoon sessions are available on request. The exact location is confirmed the day before based on swell, wind, and tide, Dopamine Surf Morocco always selects the spot that matches your level and the day’s conditions. You do not need to be a strong swimmer to take surf lessons with Dopamine Surf Morocco. All beginner sessions start in shallow whitewater where you can stand at any point. The wetsuit provides natural buoyancy that makes staying on the surface effortless. Every session begins on dry sand with technique and safety instruction before anyone enters the water. The instructor is in the water with you throughout the entire session, you are never left unsupervised. Hundreds of guests who described themselves as nervous or weak swimmers have completed lessons successfully and comfortably. Book a beginner surf lesson →

Dopamine Surf Morocco operates with a strict maximum of 5 adults per instructor and 4 children per instructor. This ratio is never exceeded regardless of demand. Large groups of 10–15 students per instructor make individual feedback practically impossible. At 5 students maximum, every wave every student takes is observed and corrected in real time. This is the single most important quality difference between Dopamine Surf Morocco and larger surf operations in the region.

Surf lessons are available in two formats: a 2-hour session or a 4-hour session. The 2-hour lesson includes a beach theory briefing covering safety, ocean awareness, and technique fundamentals, followed by in-water coaching with real-time feedback. The 4-hour session includes two coached water sessions with a break between them for rest, a plant-based lunch, and a video analysis review of the first session surfing, using footage to identify specific corrections for the after-lunch session. Both formats include surf photography and video analysis. See pricing for beginner lessons → · See intermediate lesson pricing →

Surf lessons are only canceled in cases of genuine safety risk, storms, strong lightning, or exceptional sea conditions that make entering the water dangerous. Light rain does not cancel a lesson. Overcast skies do not cancel a lesson. If a session is canceled for safety reasons, Dopamine Surf Morocco will reschedule to the next available day or offer a full alternative arrangement. You will always be notified in advance. Cancellations for safety reasons are rare on the Agadir and Tamraght coastline, the Atlantic here is consistent and surfable the vast majority of days year-round.

Every session begins with a warm welcome and equipment fitting. After a warm-up and short surf conditioning exercises on the beach, the instructor covers the theoretical side of the lesson, reading the surf spot, ocean safety rules, wave fundamentals, and the mechanics of the pop-up and stance. You then practice the pop-up and body position on dry sand until the movement feels natural before entering the water. In the water, the instructor converts theory into practice with constant real-time feedback and corrections on every wave. The session concludes with a beach debrief, communicating your strengths and specific areas to improve, followed by a full photo and video analysis session reviewing your surfing from the day. Safety and genuine progression are the priority in every session, adapted to your current fitness level and ability.

Rain alone does not cancel or affect a surf lesson. You are going into the ocean, you will be wet regardless of the weather. Surf sessions are assessed purely on safety grounds: wave conditions, wind strength, and ocean hazards. Light rain with no lightning and manageable surf is a perfectly normal session day on the Agadir coast. The only conditions that pause or cancel a session are those that create genuine safety risk, such as electrical storms or dangerously large swell for the group’s level. If conditions change during a session, the instructor makes the call based on safety, not comfort.

Agadir and Tamraght are among the best places in the world to learn surfing for the first time. The beach breaks here produce long, gentle, forgiving waves that give beginners time to stand up, find balance, and actually ride, rather than being immediately overwhelmed by steep, fast close-outs. Dopamine Surf Morocco’s beginner surf lessons start from €30 per person and cover everything from ocean safety to your first green wave. If you,ant full immersion, accommodation, meals, daily coaching, and video analysis included , the 7-day all-inclusive surf camp in Tamraght is the most complete option available.

Dopamine Surf Morocco is built on four non-negotiable principles: a certified ISA and Federal instructor, a maximum of 5 students per instructor, daily video analysis included in every session, and genuine local knowledge of the Agadir and Tamraght coastline built over years of surfing these specific breaks. It is not a surf factory processing large groups through a standardized lesson. Every session is adapted to the specific person or the specific small group  in front of the instructor, their level, their age, their goals, their body mechanics. The result is measurable progression that guests consistently describe as positive. Read guest reviews → · See all services →

Yes, every session at Dopamine Surf Morocco includes professional surf photography and video analysis at no extra cost. During the session, a dedicated camera captures your surfing throughout the day. After the session, the footage is reviewed together with the instructor who identifies specific corrections, takeoff angle, weight distribution, wave selection, turn mechanics, and explains what to focus on next time. All photos and video files are yours to keep. This visual feedback tool accelerates progression more than any other single factor in surf coaching, and it is standard in every lesson and every camp session at Dopamine Surf Morocco.
